We LOVE it!

Wonderful Cat Tree
I purchased this cat tree in December of 2007 for my 3 young male kittens. The guys are now full grown 4 year olds, and this cat tree is still going strong. I noticed that one of the posts is starting to look a little frayed, so I thought I would see if there were replacement parts available, should it come to that. This is definitely the best cat tree we have ever owned. I would highly recommend it.

made replacements already, works great
People have criticized cheap carpet, but the best part about this tree is the 9 main sisal rope scratchers and one small sisal rope scratcher it has. The luxury rug cat trees dont have that. And I've used the replacement parts! So this cat tree, despite not having luxury carpet, works well for my 11 cats.

Perfect for large cats
I have a large Maine Coon and this cat tree is perefect for him. It does not flop back and fourth when he jumps on it, and he fits in the perches on top. I will be making future purchases of these large cat trees.

My cats LOVE this condo!
I purchased this cat tree in 2005 and it has had tons of use by my 4 kitties (one is almost 20 lbs). It is extremely stable and well constructed. Several of the posts have finally frayed so I am going to replace them. This is a fantastic "toy" and my kitties have utilized it well from the time that they were kittens. Yes, I have had as many as 3 adult cats on the perches at any given time and it held up well. It is large so make sure that you have sufficient space to acomodate.

Another fantastic tree
This is the second cat tree I purchased from Armarkat -- I got my first six years ago, and it's still going strong and getting daily use from my cats. The first tree is great, and its longevity has been proof of the quality materials and craftsmanship. But this tree -- the B8201 -- shows that Armarkat has continually been making improvements over the years. The two houses now have full covering on all the interior walls, for instance, and they've made a slight change to the bolts they use to make them practically invisible in the assembled tree. Despite its size this tree was a breeze to put together. This is everything you could possibly want in a cat tree, and I'm still amazed by how reasonable Armarkat's prices are. Armarkat consistently provides the highest quality trees at the lowest price points anywhere, and my cats and I thank them!

Good for large Maine Coons if modified
Have to disagree somewhat with a couple of the other reviews. This is hardly suitable for kittens only, but also not really suitable as is for large male Maine Coons. We got this unit when our MCs were young, and as the males got bigger and bigger we began to have issues, but have modified and purchased additional posts and is now quite good. Our two males are now 22 and 18 lbs and two and one years of age. The first thing we did was to remove the house on the upper platform, as it was too small to go in and too small to even lie on. Now the top platform is a favorite place for the males to stretch out. The raised platforms did get to be a tight fit, so attached two together and changed posts so could install like that. Now the boys use constantly again. Just recently bought a couple of extra posts to help stabilize the cantilevered parts, as jumping MCs were causing quite a bit of wobble. Extremely stable now!
