Classic Cat Tree B8201

Well I love the tree, but putting it together was akin to giving birth. Plus you have to do it twice. The second time, a couple days later, to tighten everything all up. Made in China btw. Just like everything else. One other gripe. All the hardware, bolts, washers, etc. were all rusted and looked horrible. Luckily you can’t see them after it’s all put together. Considering what this cost, I should have gotten new hardware. Armarkat: Please write us at help@armarkat for replacement hardware. That shouldn't be! Further, it is designed for easy assembly.

This is our fourth armarkat cat tree we’ve purchased. 2 were gifts to family members and our last one was ruined when mice got to it while in storage (Harvey flooded our home). ALL of the ARMARKAT trees have been easy to assemble and are well built! We now have 3 cats and two small dogs so we purchased the largest- the dogs will enjoy the floor level cubbie. These are great!!

Very sturdy and easy to put together cat tree. This is my second. The first is still going strong after 7 years of abuse from 4 cats. I only trust Armarkat for my cat trees.

I was so impressed with a smaller "Kitty Kondo" from Armarkat that I went out of my way to purchase this newest "Kitty Kastle" from them. As expected, set-up was easy and the product is of the highest quality. Most important Sir Sid loves it! The only reason I gave four stars is that the stability isn't great when he's on the highest levels. However, that's merely an issue of the overall height rather than a design flaw and it's easily fixed. I merely bolted it to the wall inside the upper hidey-hole. Obviously not an option for everyone but it worked for me and took about 5 minutes.

My 6 Persian cats love this cat tree. It is very sturdy, easy to climb because of the many offset perches, and the boxes are large and fun for them to hide or sleep in. They also like to scratch on the sisal and play with each other on this great tree!

So my daughter and me put together the tree today. The youngest cat did not even let us get to the 2nd tier before she was all over it. She loves the hanging rope! We love that we got the larger size tree since each of the three cats have their favorite location on the tree. They appear to love the covering and lots of rubbing against it soft corners. We did use larger washers instead of the small washers to better distribute the load under the posts that screw in to the platforms. Definitely made them more rigid. Only concern is the plastic threaded pieces in the end of the post tubes. I have a feeling that is going to be the weakest points in the entire system.

Boards are covered in soft fleece-like material rather than rug. Cats love it. Overall quality better than expected. Directions for asssembly a little confusing, but we figured it out, even with one of our cats insisting on inspecting EVERY piece we touched! All three cats enjoying it more than we expected, and they seem to play more in generall. Upper platforms a decent size for lounging.

I bought this tree for our three cats (figured there were three perches). My wife was a bit hesitant due to the size and if it could fit into our apartment. Luckily, it fits nicely into the corner and our cats love this. One positive benefit is that with this cat tree, they have just about stopped scratching the couch. I couldn't be so lucky for them to completely stop but it really does help. Each of our cats use the perch for lounging and sleeping all day. Being able to order replacement parts (especially the legs) is a huge benefit since we go through a leg every 1.5 years or so. So far, we have had this tree 4 years. It's incredibly sturdy and our cats love it!

My cats love this tree. I even bought a second one for my brother. It odd pretty easy to assemble. One sore point is there are a couple pieces that can go on one of two ways, and then you may have to backup a few steps to get going right again - the schematics are very good, but save yourself some headache and have a picture of the finished product for reference. Don't be surprised if your cats start enjoying it before it's even done! They think everything is about them as it is...
