This is our second Armarkat tree; our first one is five years old and it's actually still mostly intact (not bad for five rambunctious kitties); it's rather hairy now and the rope on the uprights has to be re-secured. I may still be able to bring it back to usefulness since everything else is OK. I like the quality and price of the Armarkat Kitty Trees and the included shipping is the icing on the cake..

While putting the tree together, i already had one cat in the house and the other one sitting on top. Once assembled, they happily scratched on the poles and climbed all the levels. One of my cats is big, but sitting diagonally he can fit in the two upper platforms and nap. The only reason i didnt give a 5 instead of a 4 is because there are two dangly fuzzy things that arent clear from instructions how they attach. Nevermind, they are on elastic and my cats would chew thru anyhow. Its only been a few days but i am very pleased. Note its not as enormous as appears in photo. Also my biggest concern was its ability to stay upright with two crazy cats playing on it - and so far im impressed with its stability.
My kitten is 7 months old and already is about 9.5# so is not a small one. He loves this (given to us by a kind friend) gift. I think that of all the ones I actually saw in stores that were other brands, this is the best quality and was no problem putting it together. I am 63 years old and disabled and got it together in about 30 minutes with no help. It is marvelous and he loves to jump and play on it with no tipping or major rocking. I would recommend Armarkat with NO hesitation and for small spaces or apartment living this model is the BEST. Thank you for offering a great product and for making it easy for us to get replacement parts when they are needed...(not here yet but it was a major factor in the purchase).
I have one in each corner of my patio. Even thou outdoors, they hold up well with heavy use by my 7 cats. It is their favorite lookout. Adequate materials and fair cost - I replace them every 5 years. This model is a perfect fit. Easy to assemble
Got this tree to replace an aging traditional carpet style for my two older cats. It is a great size and it fits well in a corner of the room. I love the fleece covering - wonderful improvement from carpet. It was easy to put together and delivery was fast. The cats love it and have enough room to share. You can't go wrong with this one.
We are really enjoying watching our 6 cats love their new tree. There is always one or two on it at a time. It was extremely east to assemble and we liked that it used bolts instead of screws. I would have liked the top shelves to have been deeper though. The only problem I have found is with the fabric, when the cats scratch, massive shedding and I am afraid the fabric is going to wear down to the wood very soon. Other than that, very nice.
The tree arrived sturdily packed and quickly too. I unboxed it, made sure all parts were there and assembled it in 15 minutes if not less. The base is wide and sturdy; the platforms are snug fitting and stable. The sisal rope is tightly wound and done quite well. This has to be the best value around. Similar products at big box stores are twice the price.
I love Armarkat trees. I've got two. My cats love them, especially the one with two high trays to sleep in. The multiple sisal posts are great, assuring that whatever height might 5 cats feel like scratch at, they'll find something they like. And scratch they do! I think it's terrific that Armarkat offers replacement parts for these trees, so that the sisal posts can be refreshed.
My cat Cleo has had her Classic Cat Tree B5701 for three years now. It is by far her favorite place to sleep, play, or just sit and watch birds. Comparatively sized cat trees can cost $300 or more in those big pet superstores. Our Armarkat cat tree was a great value and it is well constructed. We have no complaints even after three years. This is the best thing I ever bought for Cleo.
