I wanted to like this tree so much but I have only had it for one month and the bottom standing post already broke ( as in the cork broke) im super bummed. ARMARKAT: So sorry to hear this. Please send us pictures and your receipt so we can correct this to help@armarkat.com
Both cats are enjoying the multi-levels and a house for each one! Once you get through STEP 1..the rest is easy...and did not take long to assemble with my sister's help. The CATS took to it immediately and actually hang out on the many levels more than their last CONDO...again from Armarkat. ALWAYS happy with the quality and long lasting product.
A great item, my cats were all over it while I was putting it together. Any way to move the top left perch to the side and add another perch, my cats have slap fight between the three brothers as to which two get the perches. The only thing is that they need to trim the carpeting around the hole where you are putting the bolt through as the carpet. Bits get caught in the threads of the nut making it difficult to assemble. Otherwise a AAA+++ 8 cat approved product. Armarakat: Our trees are engineered for balance. If you move the perches, you will not have the balance that was built into the product. We don't encourage this as the structural integrity would be compromised and your warranty, invalid.
Wonderful design with lots of places to sit or lie down. Plenty of room for larger cats nap. The carpeted condo is nice looking. My only suggestion is that you need to anchor the unit to the wall as it defitely moves if the jump on the various levels. *Armarkat: We generally recommend that trees be placed against a wall. We love Armarkat cat trees! I wish this review had a photo feature, because cats are the best judges of quality and within 1/2 hour of fully assembling the tree, all three of our cats had found comfy spots and settled in! Highly recommend!
I put this tree together in a little over one hour. Every part fit perfectly. Easy instructions and all parts were well packed. My kitty has never had a tree before so he's getting used to it. The tree is very sturdy. I highly recommend it.
Arrived fast on promised date, assembly was easy, and "Prancer" immediately had a "scratch" and a boxing match with the little hanging ball. Found him sleeping in one of the condos the very next morning and the second highest perch is his favorite for napping and bird watching. We have had some warmer days that allow an open window....kitty heaven. Price was fair and we had a coupon!! Little wobble in perches but still very sturdy. Cut some openings in the very sturdy packing box for a temporary playhouse. Couldn't ask for any better experience.
I put this up and my cat seemed bored while I was doing the work but once finished she went and explored it. I rubbed some catnip on the higher levels to encourage her up to the top and she is now liking all the levels. I added some cat toys of my own that hang off of it and she loves it, loves looking out the window while sitting on the platform and seems quite cozy there. Make sure to check the screws so that they are fully tightened and this is very sturdy.
This cat tree was easy to assemble and appears to be very good quality. I am quite happy with it and with the price I paid for it. My two cats like it, too!
I have three cats and they love this cat condo. It is very sturdy and was easy for me to put together by myself. The height is wonderful because there are plenty of upper spots for each cat to comfortably hang out and enjoy the window views. They no longer feel the need to compete for the top spot like they did on the shorter cat condo I had.
