Definitely for cool weather environments. “Nina” my cat (10lbs), finds it very comfy till she gets too warm inside. I may modify it with sewing air holes into the top at the deepest part of the bed. The color is lovely and the quality is superior. Ample length, width, and height allows space for Nina to turn around. Great for a cave dweller type cat/kitten. How nice, machine washable too!
