Cats Are Built for Short Bursts of Energy
Cats are hunters by nature.
Instead of staying active all day, they're designed to conserve energy and unleash it in short bursts — stalking, chasing, climbing, pouncing…
Or sprinting through your hallway at 2 A.M. for absolutely no reason.
Sleeping Doesn't Mean Lazy!
Most cats can sleep for up to 16 hours a day! This doesn't mean that they are lazy though...
It MIGHT mean that they don't have anything better to do that day
However over time, if their stimulation needs aren't met, it might turn into something else...
So Give Them Something Worth Waking Up For!
Cats need proper mental stimulation! Especially 100% indoor cats. Otherwise their energy may manifest as chaos, or depression ?
A sturdy cat tree, a favorite toy, scratching post, a high perch...
Cats don't need constant entertainment — they just need opportunities to use their natural instincts when the mood strikes.
