Add-on Perch

Made of particle board, not wood. Not sturdy. No hardware came with or was suggested for perch. Unusable. Waste of money. Do not recommend. Armarkat: We are sorry you are not happy with the perch. We assume you retained the hardware, but you may contact help@armarkat.com to replace it if needed. We recommend you tighten all connections to make it sturdy. We find that particle board works fine for most products, saving our customers the greater expense and shipping costs of hardwood.

Great product...Never buy anything other than Armakat...sturdy and reliable and love that I can get replacement parts. Would not order anything else. Armarkat: We thank you. Armarkat is the only company to offer replacement parts!

I was very disappointed with this purchase. It is a nice perch, but I am unable to use it on my cat's tree because it doesn't have the threading device inside the hole. I questioned the company and they said the perches are only meant for their brand. I think this should have been stated in the description. So I spent my money on a totally useless perch. The shipping was free, so if I have to pay to send it back, I'm actually spending money on something that I can't use. ARMARKAT: Sorry to hear you are dissatisfied, but no 2 manufacturers carry the same products so parts could never be interchangeable. Armarkat is one of the only brands that provides replacement parts, but of course, these parts only fit Armarkat branded products!

bought a straight forward scratch tree, but top was too small for cat to lounge. replaced it with this, which is effortless -- goes to show you, having universal parts is really convenient. and great fast delivery, decent price. i'm glad i ordered it.

I expected this perch to be larger than the one it replaced but it isn't. Its about one inch longer on one side. Oddly, the hole is not centered. Its not off-center enough to be unbalanced but it looks odd. Fortunately my cat d/n mind. She liked the new perch immediately. She knew it was hers. I put it on the table so she could get used to it before I put it on the tree but that w/n necessary. she loves it. I love it because its clean.

Instead of getting a new cat tree, I got two new platforms. And they are bigger than the ones that came with the original tree. You’re very sturdy and well-made and the kitties love them because they can stretch out more. They thank you and so do I!
