Add-on Perch

This perch is great! Our cat is larger than average. This perch holds up to wear well, cleans up nicely and gives her ample room for sleeping. And when she claws the fabric we can order another to keep her happy. Thank you!

Our big chonk loved his regular Armarkat tower, but he hung all over the edges of the top platform. Didn't seem to bother him, but it did me. The 15x15 platform is a better size for him and he loves it, as do I! BTW, no extra hardware is needed if you are simply replacing an old Armarkat platform. Just unscrew the old one and screw on the new one. It arrived quickly. Appreciated the 15% discount and free shipping. Thanks, Armarkat!

The smaller perches that came with my fabulous cat tree were not quite large enough for our "chonky" boys! I ordered the 15 inch add on perches and they are a purrfect fit! One of the boys, Cookie, is 15 and still going strong. He gets so comfy on this perch that he will spend the night in the catio! It's summer, why not?

Great size for my cat who had outgrown the original perches for this cat stand. She and I love it.

Perches are great but the shipping was more than the product ugh!

Like most other reviews we are not able to use this because there is no threaded mounting hardware included. Just a hole. They know customers keep running into this and make no effort to improve it / include it. Armarkat: Sorry, but we assume the customer has retained the mounting hardware from the original perch. If that has been misplaced, the customer can order hardware from our website.

I purchased this shelf to replace an old, beat up shelf that had worn from over use because it is a favorite spot of our cat. I intentionally selected a shelf that was about one inch larger all around but the same shape because he has grown considerably. The shelf came with just a hole drilled into the underside, no metal insert as on the original shelf. My husband had to remove the metal screw receivers rom the original shelf which was terribly difficult and put it in the new shelf. It does not screw on securely and now we have to figure out how to clamp it more securely. The cat tried it but has abandoned his favorite perch for the time being. We hope we can make it more stable. Replacements should come with property attachments. ARMARKAT: First, never use replacement parts that are not part of the original tree as you will be effecting the tree's structural integrity. Further, it is expected you will re-use your hardware, and if not, you will repurchase same onsite.

The top perch that came with my original cat tree was too small for my cat. I looked everywhere and finally found this add-on perch. It fits my cat tree and my cat uses it every day. Would have given 5 stars if they had it in dark brown.
