We purchased an 8001 cat tree close to two decades ago and it has been serving us well, put several of the large S scratch posts had been torn apart and were in need of replacement, so we got five new ones. Size wise, they are a perfect replacement. The twine color on the new posts is a little different, so the posts are of mismatched colors, but our cats don't seem to care about that.
I love the fact that when the sisal rope has served it purpose, I can order NEW upright posts to make my Boys Cat Tree good as new ... going on 11 years with the same tree! Best thing I ever bought for them.

I thought your company is so efficient when I saw you shipped my replacement parts I ordered on Saturday, on Sunday! They were here so fast, I was really impressed. When my wife opened the package, there was no allen wrench included like when we bought the cat stand 5 years ago. So we had to go get an allen wrench to fit the connectors. The cat tower is sturdy as it was when we firs got it. Our four cats still love it and are still playing with it and each other daily.
My 2 cats have been occupying their Classic 8001 Condo for 9 years and it's still going strong. The condo is undercover, in my screened room and has held up quite nicely.Over the years, I have replaced some of the jute, but to be expected. It's there to be used and cats have claws. My only complaint would be the threaded piece on both ends of my tower uprights. Over time, they crack, making the towers unstable. To replace these, it requires purchasing a complete upright. Otherwise, with the rough use the condo receives, it has held up and is used on a regular basis. Thank you Armarkat Jumbee & Kona
After six years, my cats have destroyed the bottom tier of scratching posts on the cat tree I purchased from Armarkat. Since the rest of the cat tree was in good shape, I didn't want to invest in a brand new tree. So, I bought replacement scratching posts which fit perfectly. I must admit, it was a hassle to disassemble the entire tree to install the new posts, but it was worth it in the long run. Hopefully, I'll get six more years out of these new posts. This particular cat tree is very well made, and my cats love it!
