Its great to replace single pieces when the beds get too crudded with hair or you want to spice things up a bit for your kitty. I've tried a few variations and I appreciate that I can practically customize my existing cat tree to keep it interesting, comfy, and nice looking. The pieces are durable and easy to apply.
Over about 6-7 years I have ordered the sisal scratchers and other parts for my original,"cat tree." After moving to Florida to a downsized home with five cats, I revised my "cat tree" as well as replaced two sleeping areas atop the scratch pads. The order took extra long to arrive because I changed some numbers in my zip code (duh!)? The delay was due to a funky way of leaving a message on the site for me so I had to go back in to retrieve it when a regular email message would have worked better and been more distinguished in noting. Other than that, my only peeve is the item was shipped from China, my kitties are happy with their new kitty seats.
I have purchased both the trees and the large houses separately. We attach the large houses to hardy-board walls as part of a walking wall constructed of carpeted shelves. The Armarkat houses are the perfect finishing touch, as the cats in our center love them, and they are exceptionally well made and durable.
