B7701 Parts

We have two cats, and they both love their tree. The scratching posts get a lot of action! The part we ordered (pole S) was delivered right to our door, and was a breeze to swap out with the old one.

It's a replacement part - it does exactly what it is supposed to do, and it also fits on a cat condo made by a competing brand.

I ordered a replacement base and pillar after a jealous dog peed on the originals. Parts came as advertised but I need two hex bolts that the movers lost. Didn't see where hardware is listed.

With 2 cats continually bounding up and down our B7701 condo for almost 4, the weakest part proved to be Post "S" which has not support other than the bolt that holds it to floor "A" which finally broke at the base. Thank you Armarkat for maintaining individual replacement parts. The part was received in just a few days and was the perfect replacement, already wrapped in sisal and was easy to replace. Now, if Armarkat would only offer replacement fabric to recover the rest of it, it would look like new.

I inially purchased the B7701 almost four years ago, for my new Maine Coon kittens. However, after all this time, my baby girls are now big 16 lb. lady cats! They loved their classic cat tree from the start, but the base started cracking after being hit by 30 lbs of running cat. Now, after installing a new base, their favorite cat tree is as good as new, and ready for another four years.

I initially purchased a Classic Cat Tree B5701. Overall, it was very nicely covered and well made. However, the top two perches were too small for my large cat so I purchased two additional perches 14"x14". That size is ok but I would love to see the edges 2" higher so they could curl up in them.
