Despite living in an apartment, our new 84 inch high tree is awesome. Both of my adult cats began climbing it as I was putting it together. All of the parts were there and all of the pre drilled holes were in the right place. Putting it together was a breeze. This is my fourth tree because the materials and workmanship are top notch.
I ordered this cat tree because I could tell one of my cats was stressed about being in the living room and having nowhere to get up high. This seemed like the perfect fit for my small apartment because it goes straight up. When I got it and started setting it up, my cats were climbing all over it before I could even finish putting it together! once completed, I was pleased with how tall it stands and how great it looks. And my cats love it. The one I bought it for has been sleeping in it (at the very top!) almost non-stop since I got it together. The younger one loves running up it. Since my cats are both Maine Coons, I wanted it to be stable. It does wobble a little when they run up to the top (as you would expect), but I feel very confident that they won't ever be able to knock it over with the wide base. Great product!
I bought this cat tree several years ago. In that time, it has been taken apart several times and hauled back and forth between Idaho and Montana. It is very strong and stable, and shows no wear at all. It can be put together with just the picture for a guide. We love it and I plan to order another for my nephew's cat in Colorado. He will love it too.
I purchased this cat tree for my cat who loves to climb and be high. It is made very well. The main problem I had was some of the screw holes did not line up. In attaching piece E to piece C the holes were off by 3/4 of an inch. Without drilling new holes you could not put this together. If you don't know how to do this you can not assemble the unit to be sturdy.
