Happy Birthday Cats
My husband put this up with the cats' assistance and they were climbing on it before completion. This is their 2d tree and it looks to be as sturdy as the first, which lasted 5 years, 4 cats. My first Armarkat tree really only needs replacement of scratched parts of the tree, so it will be relegated to another room while they scale the heights of their new tree!

The Cats Love It
My cats were climbing on this tree before I could get it out of the box! Once assembled, it became a favorite place to rest and play. After five years of heavy use, it is worn out and I am planning to buy another Armarkat tree soon. My cats were not interested in the hammock or the ropes so I will probably pick another model. I am sure they will enjoy the new model as much as they have this one.

Easy to Assemble
OK, when I read in one of the reviews that this cat tree was easy to assemble, I was skeptical. I was delighted when I discovered that it is absolutely true. One of those, if I can do it, you can do it things. It is also sturdy, even on our carpet with a top of the line pad. That is not to say that there is not a little movement, but there is a whole lot less than another manufacturer's product. Also, the color is so neutral, that the cat tree does not stand out as the first thing you see when you walk into a room. Five paws up for Armarkat.

My cats like scratching it and jumping on it, which is great since those are its only two functions.

Great Product! A must buy for Cat Lovers
We bought one of the cat trees over 3 years ago and with three cats, just now need to replace one of the sisel posts on the base from over use. They perch on this thing and work their claws daily in the posts. Great product, very sturdy and great price compared to pet stores in the area! A must buy if you have multiple cats AND dogs!

Excellent quality!
I bought several of these cat trees and the cats LOVE them! As soon as each one was built and put in place, a cat jumped into it. They are easy to put together, very sturdy, and well balanced. My 25 pound male cat scrambles up all the way to the top, then rolls around playing 'cute' on the top platform. The unit hardly rocks! There is some movement, but not nearly as much as I had expected. The younger cats chase each other up and down them and they hardly move. I highly recommend them.

Durable, well-made, not-ugly, and cats love it
This is my second Armarkat, and I've recommended them to several friends. They're very good value and extremely well-made. The pieces screw together and many of them can be replaced. Best of all, Armarkat trees are cat magnets. My cats sleep on this, play on this, and scratch on this. I took the top most shelf, which I felt made the tree too high, turned it upside down, and voila, got an extra scratching post for use in another room. I didn't attach the hammock, but one cat does enjoy the hanging ball. They're not much interested in the rope. But the attachments aren't the point. The point is that you have a super sturdy, well-designed, not unattractive cat tree that your cats will get a ton of use out of. My last tree is now at a friend's house and is finally wearing out after more than 10 years. This one, at 1 year, is still looking like new (except for all the cat hair).

Great cat tree!!
I've had the tree now for a week. I wanted to write that the tree is very nice and my two cats love it!! From the first day they have climbed and perched on it. I didn't think they would like the box, but my older cat loves to sleep in it. I haven't seen either try the sling, but I like the review from one person who said it is a cute place for toys (and bags of treats!). after reading the one review about using it on hard wood floors, I took a carpet sample, put it carpet side down on the floor, then the cat tree on that. It was the perfect size! Now I can move it with ease and my floor is protected. I thought this was a very good deal for the price, and easy to assemble by picture!
