It's been at least 5 years now, and I just ordered some new posts because they have been destroyed by ecstatic scratching. Our three cats just love this tree, for napping, sparring, taking flying leaps off of, and vaulting onto. I'm just glad it's not my couch.
i placed the order and it was delivered 3 days later; i just put this Tree together (i'm 67; it comes with the tool; it took exactly one hour; very simple, easy diagrms to understand and follow (you must start from the bottom and work your way up, just as the instructions say, do NOT try any shortcuts); it's just beautiful! nice & sturdy, attractive and very well made; i'm very pleased; it was a belated gift from Santa for my three shelter babies*~
If you have cats. A cat tree is a must. Cats need a high place to run to. For play/exercise and when they get frightened. My 3 cats have had this one since they were kittens. Still in good shape but ready for a new one. It has seen a lot of use. scratch posts are shot. Play on it daily. They are 13 to 14 lbs each. And run at it at full speed! Hasn't tipped over yet but they do get it rockin! Can't go to far if placed in a corner. Still built well enough. Great price. They would be lost without it. The shelf (2nd one from the bottom) is perfect for a cat bed. Lower front shelf is still available for other cats to run up to other areas without bothering miss queen bee. ;) I like this material best. I feel with the faux fur my cats might just slip on the fur and go flying off. Can't go wrong with this seller too. The best!
Both our cats love it! They'll go through phases of using it, but after 4 years, they still use the tree and its still as sturdy as ever. Great product, great price!
My cats live on this thing. I have 3 males, ages 4 and 2. The two top poles have gotten a little rickety after 2 years and it's impossible to defur it. They've also managed to rip off some of the sisal from the bottom poles, but better that than my furniture. Easy to put together. I will definitely buy another Armarkat, maybe even this one. It takes surprisingly little room and the cats love the top shelves since it's the only tall thing in my home.
Great if your cat likes high spots but you don't have a huge amount of room. I bought this model three and a half years ago. My cat uses it every day, and now my roommate's cats use it, too. Very sturdy and easy to vacuum it clean. I put an extra cushion in the hideaway and my cat loves to sleep there.
I've had my Armarket Classic Tree for 2 years and it is amazing. It's pretty, it's durable and easy to assemble. In 2 years plus an overweight cat I've only had to re-tighten 1 bolt. I put it by a window so my kitty can look out at the birds and and sun herself on any of the upped ledges she wants. Easily cleaned with a lint roller or lightly vacuum with a drapes attachment. I would buy this tree all over again...but I don't think I'm gonna have to
We purchased this to go in our master bedroom almost three years ago. This was our second tree from Armarkat and the kitties love it just as much as their first (model B7701). The roof of the house is sunken in slightly to give an additional sleeping area and this is the most popular place on the tree for our five kitties (largest kittie is 20 lbs)! Great quality/price. Kitties think it is an awesome tree from an awesome company and so do the humans!! Thanks for a wonderful product!!
My cats love this! And so do I. It was easy to put together, considering that I am 76 years old and not too strong. Nicely packed. Tree is excellent quality. Good carpeting material. Heavy boards. Substantial bolts. Every thing you need is included, even the Allen wrench to fit. None of your tools to drag out. A very sturdy finished product. The free shipping delived to my door just made it perfect.
I placed my order Saturday AM and received the tree Thursday AM, so the fast shipping was great. Everything came very neatly packed in the box with all the tools I needed and no unnecessary packaging. I assembled it by myself in under a half hour, which included unpacking the box and clean-up. Directions were very easy to follow with all the pieces appropriately and clearly labeled. Honestly the most difficult part was pushing the finished tree into the corner! I was impressed with the quality as it is sturdier and looks better than I expected. The fleece type covering is tightly attached as is the rope around the posts. Most importantly my cat is in love with it. She is a small adult cat weighing in at 6.5lbs and this tree fits her very comfortably with plenty of room to stretch out. She is declawed in the front and this tree is extremely accessible for her, which was a main concern during my search. This tree is set up in such a way that she can easily move from one level to the other safely and smoothly without the use of front claws.
