Extra Large Perch

A decent product. When the description says "solid wood", I pictured it made of boards, but it's made of plywood. Good plywood (NOT mdf), but still plywood. And it's not screwed or nailed together, it's just glued. Also, it is totally unfinished. I love that I can get a part for my cat tree that's not covered in fur or carpet. In all, it's a great addition to my tree, but still, the description could use updating.

My cat loves climbing up almost anything and she has loved the cat tree that I purchased a couple of years ago but she has grown larger than the top perch and this extra-large perch is perfect for her to climb onto and stretch out in the sun!

This is a beautiful product. It is well made and I believe a good value when you consider that it is available no where else that I am aware. It is easy to install with just an included bolt. I personally needed a new post on which to put my new large perch because I purchased my cat condo elsewhere. The same web site included the post that I needed and I ordered it. I found the service to be excellent and they are very friendly and helpful if that is what you need. I give them a 5.0 for this product and my cats love it. It makes an ordinary cat condo into an extraordinary one for your cats. I have 3 cats and I will have to order 2 more for my next two condos that I purchase. This time however I will order them from Amarkat where I will have no problems with extra parts and specialty parts.

After spilling over the small perch that came with the unit for so long, my big girl took to larger perch immediately and looks very pleased with the added space. Great additional and worth the hefty price tag.

This fits great on my cat tree. It fits a single pole base and is more stable than I thought it would be as long as the tree is against a wall or couch. Cat loves it. Shipped fast. Customer service helpful. It was slightly annoying that it cost half as much as the entire cat tree and the tree didn’t have a large perch option when I bought it, but I am happy with it.

The ones that come with cat trees/condos are just too small. This one is PERFECT. I may be ordering a second one. Well made, sturdy, large - high quality!! Armarkat is by far the best. I have six pieces from them.

I have two very large cats and their cat tree bed was small. They love this bed. One of them is always lying in it. Very pleased.

I have a Norwegian Forest Cat. He really enjoys the cat tower I received for Christmas; especially the rope-covered columns. The top perch did not have enough space for him to nap, because it was too small and lacked depth. I searched the Internet, found the extra-large perch, and bought it within five minutes. Shipping was free ! After I received the perch with three business days, I took off the original perch and installed the new one within three minutes. It simply could not have been easier. Now my cat naps up there during the day.

I have a 2yr. old cat and a 5 month old kitten. They both wanted to be on the top platform of their Armarkat cat tree. There wasn’t enough room. I put the new platform on and now they have plenty enough room. Everyone is happy!
