Basket

My siamese cat absolutely loves this basket and sleeps in it every day. However, he loves to knead the bottom of the basket with his talon-like claws before settling down, so he has already dug a hole all the way through two of these. It is so nice to be able to purchase replacement parts for my cat trees without any hassle. So many other places want you to replace the whole tree.

We've bought the basket before. Our cats LOVE sleeping in them. They usually last us 4-5 years. Our cats have claws and dig into them before going to sleep. We will continue buying them.

Item did arrive with a small rip in the fabric, no major problem, just put that piece on the bottom so it couldn't be seen. I think the sewing could have been done better. It is functional, but I think when the fabric gets worn out I will make my own next time. Nice steel ring that should be pretty durable to withstand the test of time. *Armarkat: James, if you would like a replacement for the part with the ripped fabric, please contact help@armarkat.com. if not we have a 6 month warranty as well in case it rips further. I would of given it 5 stars if they made it just a little smaller in size. The ones that come with the trees are tighter and stretch over time. The cats like to sleep snuggled in it. This one is already loose so we will see if stretches out more maybe it won't, than I change my review to 5; time will tell.

I bought this basket to add to a different brand of cat tree I previously had for a couple years. I just recently got a bengal kitten and he took the original basket of the tree and my munchkin would no longer sleep in it. After purchasing this she is back to sleeping in the tree in her new basket and loves it! She was so excited to try it out that she jumped in it before I had even gotten it mounted to the tree. I would definitely recommend this and will buy again if I ever need another one.

My cat, Toby, LOVES this basket. This is our 3rd, as he wears them out! We've had the cat tree itself now for 8 years - it's in great shape! We even flip the baskets inside out for longer use. When you're not sure where he is - check the basket. The material is very soft and the whole basket is very sturdy.

It is a bit bigger than the one that came with the cat tree. With two brothers and one bigger than the other it's working out great, no more fights who gets it.

We have had our Armarkat kitty condo (as we call it) for almost 10 yrs now. One of the best buys we ever made! We just adopted two kittens that were fighting over the one basket and decided to purchase a second basket to stop the fights. It matched the other material perfectly and installed quite easily. Now they still fight but not over the one basket. I highly recommend Armarkat products as they are long lasting, made properly and are sturdy as an oak tree. You won't be disappointed!!

Since one of my cats loves the one I already have (which came with the tree), I decided to get one for the other cat tree they have in another room. Even though I think it's a bit expensive, and this was the only one I could find, I am glad I got it for her. It's a little deeper, and plusher then the one that came with the tree, so that is a big plus. Wish it came in solid color though, but that's me, only being a nit picker. ;-) At first I thought the screw would not be able to screw in all the way, but with a little more pushing down, it finally screwed in....so don't give up, it will work....as long as the cat tree is from Armarkat. If you have a different brand, then I don't know if it will fit, since the screws used, could be thinner. I would definitely recommend this basket. :-)
