My cats love it! The younger one claimed the top box and the older one claimed the bottom box (however, they do switch back and forth on all levels). Thank you for making it. It's my second one.
Easy to put together; cats immediately jumped into the cubbies and onto the flat platforms above. Quite stable and the color is so neutral that it blends in with everything. It's plushy on the cubbie's floors. Only change I would make is to line the inside of the cubbie walls. But overall I am thrilled with this product!
ARMARKAT: We will take your suggestion into consideration. However, we won't want to do it if it increases your cost!
My kitties love these trees. You can’t find or build one better for the price and versatility to exchange out parts or even add on
Easy to put together. Sturdy for my 2 large cats. Smells like glue for the first day or two but odor goes away. It's their go-to napping place.
I was a little concerned when the box showed up at our front door, because it was so large. It was pretty easy to assemble, however. I was a little concerned after I put it together that it was a little wobbly, but it's held up well with our four cats, including one that's 23 pounds and loves to lay on the highest perch. The fabric is soft, and our cats seem to like it. I guess if I had one concern, it'd be that the company may have simplified the measurements, too much. It seems like the top half is a little crooked because the sets of pillars don't quite line-up right. Again, it seems sturdy enough for our four cats, but if you look at it closely, you can see that it's a little 'off.'
I have two of these cat trees. The first one I bought about 6 years ago. My cats loved it so much I got a second one for another room, about 4 years ago. I have four VERY rough players. They go flying up and down these trees multiple times a day and also sleep on them when it's nap time. After all these years they are both in great shape. I recently moved and the movers dropped one off the truck, upside down, breaking 2 posts. If they had not, I think it would have lasted many more years without problems! I already loved these, but the ease of replacing single parts, and not having to buy a whole new tree, makes me love them even more! Thanks Armarkat!
My cats have had so much fun with their cat tree. It was easy to put together and very high-quality materials. It arrived in just a few days. The perches are plenty big for them to stretch out and take a nap or watch the birds outside the window. They love hiding, (even playing) in the houses, which are also plenty big. I read that someone suggested not putting the ramps on, but my smaller cat gets wild and runs up and down them. This is my first cat tree and I highly recommend this model and brand!
Armarkat: We'd love to see a pic of them on the tree. If you send it to us on FaceBook, we'll share the recco. Thanks Kathy!
I have to give this tower a 3 because because of the real plywood platforms. Much stronger than pressboard platforms. But the 'weak link' of this and other totem/towers is the metal bolts fitting into plastic inserts in the sisal-wrapped posts. Adult cats of 10-15 pounds playing and hitting the tower to scamper up to the top eventually stretches and/or breaks those plastic inserts in about 2-3 years. Please make metal inserts to accept the bolts. Would be much stronger and would rate 5 stars.
ARMARKAT: This is the first time we have heard this. We will take it under advisement. Thanks.
My cats and kitties love it!Well made and attractive.
