Why Does My Cat Stare at the Wall?

Have you ever wondered why your cat seems to be able to stare off into space for hours at a time? They seem focused on some inanimate object and are apparently fixated with what they see. This is along the lines of other seemingly irrational cat behaviors like running crazily across the room before the latest staring session seems to take over their consciousness.

Well, it turns out that many of these peculiar behaviors emanate from the cat's extra sensory perception, if you will. Cat ESP is nothing more than enhanced vision that may have them focused on the light's movement across a dust particle. Or, cat ESP enables them to hear sounds in ranges that humans cannot. Though it may look like they are wall-staring again, but they might actually be focused on the sound of a rodent within the wall whose movements are almost indistinguishable.
