I bought this in particular because of the large dimensions (20x20) for my large cat. Because of the mushroom style, it is 4" thick on each side rendering the inside dimensions much smaller than previous beds that I've purchased from Armarkat. It won't fit my cat. Armarkat: Sorry to hear this. I hope the solution our associate offered was satisfactory for you.
Our 9 month old, 10 pound, Siamese kitten went straight to the bed, sniffed it once and went in and curled up. Based upon the size of her parents, we expect her to end up around 15 pounds. This was the best bed we could find for a large cat.
VERY WELL MADE. ATTRACTIVE PRICE. FREE SHIPPING. MY LITTLE GUY IS A "NERVOUS NELLIE." PAST BEDS WERE TREATED WITH EXTREME CAUTION: NOT GOING NEAR FOR HOURS. THEN SNIFFING. FINALLY, USUALLY THE 2ND DAY, CAREFULLY STEPPING IN. WITH THIS ONE HE DID A COUPLE SNIFFS, WALKED IN AND CURLED RIGHT UP FOR A NAP! I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT.
The bed is well made and the cushion is nicely padded. Better than any I have seen in pet stores.
