Cat beds should come in a variety of styles just like cats. A previous reviewer was disappointed because the top “collapsed”, with the kitten sleeping on top of the dome. However the style of bed is meant to collapse. Our cat is a sphynx and she always prefers something draped over her body, be it a blanket or this bed. The sturdier dome type that does not collapse is OK, but needs a cover over the opening or she gets a draft LOL
I purchased this Armakat bed for our new kitten with the idea that he would love the burrow-effect offered by the domed top. However, the top has no support to hold it up so the kitten slept on top of the collapsed dome rather than being able to get under it. To ARMAKAT: I would recommend a redesign of this bed and To BUYERS: I'd suggest that you consider purchasing the C18HML/MH bed. I purchased the 21 inch version of that bed on another web site (the 21" bed isn't available here or there anymore) and my other cat adores it.
