This is the 3rd cat tree I have ordered from Armarkat. The first two for myself and this one for my daughter in Seattle. They last forever and are easy to keep clean. The one I keep in an outdoor area has been rained on (not by choice) several times and it just had a shelf fall apart from being in the weather and drying out. I got on line an replaced the shelf for $14. It is still in great condition. This is the best product I have found and so affordable.
Love this cat tree!

I have two indoor cats and they love this tree. I have it sitting next to our patio window where they keep an eye on inside and outside activities. It is very sturdy and balanced so even when they run and jump on it, it handles my rowdy girls!
Wish I'd kept the old one!

After seven years the sisal was worn out and the faux shearling had gone dirty grey--and I thought I could afford to replace my old Cat Tree with a new one from the same company. I'm so sorry! The fake fur has been replaced by thin plush, the wood is thinner (and exposed), the hardware is cheaper and I think the "sisal" has plastic in it now--all bad. Also, the cat bed is TINY: my nine pound full grown cat can barely fit inside--and she's not interested in testing the hammock or tunnel. This is CHEAP & shoddy and I'm sorry I didn't see the post below, which would have helped me to extend the life of the tree I had. A bad buy.
